I earned my PhD in Computer Science at the University of Montréal, supervised by Prof. Mikhail Bessmeltsev. My research interests lie at the intersection of animation, graphics, computer vision, and machine learning.
Before coming to Montréal, I earned my BSc and MSc in Mathematics from Novosibirsk State University (NSU), with guidance from Prof. Mikhail Urev. NSU is located in Akademgorodok, a unique scientific city in the heart of Siberia in Russia, and a place I'll always cherish. The strong education I received at NSU was a crucial stepping stone – it helped me gain acceptance to programs like the Yandex School of Data Analysis and ultimately led me to the University of Montréal where I won Google PhD Scholarship. I'm incredibly thankful for my time at NSU and the inspiring environment of Akademgorodok.
I also hold a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Modeling from ENSTA Paris (École nationale supérieure de techniques avancées), supervised by Prof. Patrick Ciarlet.
I am involved in an educational program at the Computer Science Center, where I teach Machine Learning and Deep Learning courses. I also supervise undergraduate research and bachelor's theses.
In my spare time, I enjoy competitive machine learning. You can view my top-ranked solutions here.
